YCAT pianist Ariel Lanyi tours Argentina this August, appearing across four cities under the auspices of the Mozarteum Argentino. His programme spans the classical and the contemporary, pairing a Haydn sonata with Beethoven's Diabelli Variations, one of the towering achievements of the piano repertoire, and closing with Sir George Benjamin's Fantasy on an Iambic Rhythm. The tour takes in the 45th season of Mozarteum Jujuy, where Lanyi also gives a masterclass, and the 25th anniversary season of Mozarteum Salta.
